Last week I had the privilege of attending the Alexander Devine children’s hospice christmas party at Legoland in Windsor on behalf of Connor – we have funded this event for a number of years. 2016’s event was a magical and humbling day attended by 115 children and over 80 families.
The event is the most widely anticipated one of the entire Alexander Devine calendar and gives the children under the hospice’s care and their siblings some special memories. Families who had lost a child since last year’s event also attended as they enjoyed it so much in previous years.
The children enjoyed the opportunity to meet Star Wars characters, play on the giant Scaleletrix set, meet reindeer and have a private meeting with Father Christmas who gave them some amazing presents.
It is because of the support of our clients and the endeavours of the Connor team that we are able to continue to sponsor such a worthwhile cause, thank you so much. It makes a real difference to the children and their families and leaves them with a cherished memory which you can’t put a price on.
