Tim Kemp

I am, first and foremost, an experienced, commercially focussed businessman. I have many years experience of helping senior individuals who are making strategic career decisions; people leaving their organization, joining a new one, securing an external board appointment or being prepared for succession.

My first career was in HR leadership with multi-national technology companies including Unisys where I was European VP. I moved into management consultancy with PwC where I became a partner leading the Organisational Change practice. I was an Executive Search partner with Korn Ferry where I focussed on the HR and Professional Services markets. Most recently I have specialised in outplacement and coaching with a leading international career consulting firm.

James Macmillan

With thirty years of business experience, the last seven of which have been spent working directly as an Executive Coach and Executive Outplacement Consultant where I have provided bespoke support to Senior Managers and Directors (inc Marketing, MD’s, Operations and Finance Directors) from a broad range of sectors including Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, IT and Technology.

Prior to making the transition into coaching and outplacement I was a senior portfolio manager and managing director with the largest global asset management firm, leading teams and interacting daily with the top management teams of global listed businesses.

In addition to working as an Executive Outplacement Coach I am also engaged as a NED by two local charitable organisations, the MK Parks Trust, where I chair the commercial subsidiary and Grand Union Housing Group, where I am a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.

My extensive business background combined with my experience as a NED and Executive Outplacement Coach allows me to put myself in the shoes of the Executives that I support and understand the challenges that they face when securing their next career move. By drawing upon my personal experience as an MD I am able to provide guidance and direction which enables individuals to secure their desired career objectives albeit another permanent opportunity, NED, portfolio career or setting up a business.

With an MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice and accredited at PCC level by the International Coach Federation, I’ve published academic research and coached hundreds of clients in a wide range of industries. I’ve set up and run two small businesses and am equally fascinated by both the corporate and the entrepreneurial world.

I have a formidable reputation among the Executive community for my impressive coaching, performance and outstanding results.

I spent many years as a Headhunter where I launched, built and sold multi-million-pound enterprises in Executive search before making the transition into Outplacement and Career development. This enables me to bring a unique advantage; with a blend of commercial acumen and in-depth market knowledge.

Ian McCalla

I have over 15 years’ experience delivering outplacement services to individuals up to and including senior executive from both international corporations and SME’s spanning a broad range of sectors including Financial Services, Legal, Manufacturing, IT, Oil/Gas, Telecoms and Engineering. My focus is on successfully moving people from where they currently are in their career to a better situation, with the maximum effectiveness and minimum stress and strain.
