Connor attending the 2015 HR in Housing Conference and Exhibition

On 16 April 2015, the Connor sales and marketing teams will be attending the highly anticipated annual HR in housing conference and exhibition, hosted by the National Housing Federation.

The event centres around tackling HR challenges by discussing subjects close to Connor’s heart, including engaging your workforce, managing change and retaining your top talent using cost effective strategies that provide big impact.

Connor has been working with housing associations for many years, supporting them with dilemmas associated with organisational change, making redundancies and how to maximise talent retention. A recent change programme delivered to the National Housing Federation (NHF) was described by their operations director Simon Charlick as: “an excellent fit that has made a significant difference to our people. Connor’s passion shines through and they have the ability to get under the skin of what our people are all about.”

The Connor team will be looking to share their expertise in two key areas:

1. Supporting employees through change

Designing flexible outplacement programmes to support those leaving an organisation to achieve their end goal – whether that is finding another job, setting up in business, a portfolio career or retirement planning.

Building engagement and effective teams following change or ‘managing the survivors.’

2. Managing and retaining your greatest assets

Driving performance through career coaching to maximise the talent within an organisation, forming the foundation of retention and succession planning strategies.
