Connor appoints Head of People Development

The People and Change experts Connor announce the appointment of Elaine Stephens as Head of People Development.

Elaine’s appointment coincides with Connor’s continuing drive for growth. As Head of People Development, Elaine is stepping into the role on an interim basis while Kim Foster takes maternity leave.

Reporting to Julia Nickless, Elaine will be responsible for overseeing our People Development Programmes such as our award-nominated INSPIRED programme for leaders, Team Development, Talent Development, Coaching and Mentoring. Elaine works closely with our clients to listen and understand their bespoke requirements, environment and sector; getting to the root of their people development priorities and challenges to understand where we may be able to help.

Her priority will be to build on the strategy that supports our corporate vision, focusing initially on enabling agile leadership for clients through our range of content on topics such as resilience, mindset and leading through change. She will also be building our health and wellbeing proposition and supporting the growth of our agile coaching service.

Elaine brings to Connor a unique combination of L&D and Talent Management with commercial expertise and over 18 years’ experience in the pharma biotech sector. Elaine’s experience spans high profile HR roles including Executive Director in Global Talent Management at Chiltern (a Covance Company).

Kate Keaney, CEO of Connor comments:

“We’re delighted to have Elaine join us, and at such a significant phase in our growth strategy. People Development is an absolute priority as we work to embed the Connor vision across our client work.”
