This month saw Alexander Devine children’s hospice service open the doors to new, state-of-the-art facilities in Maidenhead. The charity provides day care for more than 600 children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
Founded in 2007, the charity embarked on a decade long project to provide care services in Berkshire. The hospice has a flexible freedom of choice approach to support – creating a warm space away from hospital visits. Children can enjoy play sessions in the fully-equipped sensory room, create sounds in the music space and make a mess in the creative play room.

Connor commercial director Fraser Silvey has fostered our relationship with Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service for a number of years and was recently appointed as a trustee of the charity.
Alexander Devine and Connor have participated together in fund raising and family day events. Working closely with them, we have been humbled by the incredible work they are doing.
We’re delighted to announce that in the last year we have made a record annual donation of £40,000 and know it is going to a wonderful cause. We are extremely thankful to our loyal clients, without whom, we would not be in such a position.
In-patient and respite care services planned are for later in 2018, eventually extending to overnight stays being available to all families. To achieve this, the hospice must raise vital funds.
